Dear Parents:
Throughout the ages, Chanukah has been an auspicious time of year to express Hakaras HaTov. Our outstanding faculty who work tirelessly all year for your daughters are deserving of your recognition of their efforts. The Women’s League has implemented this Chanukah Gelt program which helps facilitate collecting Chanukah gelt, and we urge everyone to participate.
While this streamlines the process, it should not replace parents’ expressions of their personal hakaras hatov to the Morah or teacher with any other tangible gift or note they may want to give them. Let us recognize that our moros and teachers are there for our daughters and have a profound impact upon their lives. Please also show your hakaras hatov to those in the resource room who deserve recognition for their tireless efforts.
A Lichtega Chanukah
